Tweed Performance
On March 26th, 2021 I performed at The Tweed Museum of Art which is located on the campus of the University of Minnesota, Duluth
The idea for the performance was purely out of humor. Since I don't know how to skate, I thought it would be funny to try and skate around Tweed as well as attempt to ollie. I never successful skate around or complete an ollie during the performance, but it shows the process of trying to learn. Most people are called a "poser" during their learning stage, so this is just another way for me to lighten up that term and claim it.
In the background I have Bones Brigade "The Search for Animal Chin" playing because that is my dad's favorite skate film. He is the person who introduced me to the skate culture, so I thought it would be fitting to play it.
